Happy Little Soles Barefoot Try On Event

At Happy Little Soles, we pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and free returns, giving customers the chance to find the best barefoot shoes for them. We spend a lot of time talking to everyone but as an online business we don't always get to meet our customers in person. We decided it was time to change this and host a barefoot try on event!

This was a space for customers to try some brands or styles they might not have considered before, really hone their sizing in the wide range of brands we stock, speak with us and get some advice and information on foot health, and the opportunity to connect with like minded people in the barefoot community.

We held a try on event in Salford some time ago but this time we wanted to make it a bit bigger and in a location everyone could access easily. After some searching we settled on the fantastic venue at the Village Hotel in Dudley. We couldn't have picked a better venue for accessibility and friendliness of staff, everyone who worked there went beyond our expectations.

All the tickets were sold, we'd asked everyone attending what brands they would like to see, the favourites were Be Lenka, Realfoot, Xero, Peerko and Shapen, all we needed to do now was pack up a very big van and head down.

Doors opened at 10am for the morning session so the Happy Little Soles elves were busy the night before setting up the room ready for a busy day of trying on. We brought a wide selection of children's and adults barefoot shoes and boots and brought a first look at the newest drop of Tikki barefoot boots too.

Our friends from Wildsole came to meet you all and the lovely Barefoot Brit came along too to chat to you about all things barefoot and foot health.

We also had Hugh an expert from Xero come and take the time to really talk through  Xero shoes and their helath benefits, new styles and help fit the best styles for customers.

From walking boots, a nice pair of chelsea boots or barebaric trainers to some metallic sneakers from Shapen, everyone tried on everything they could. It was lovely to see people trying on brands they'd not previously considered and find the best fitting shoes for them. Whether it be ground feel, extra wide shoes, shoes for low volume feet or someone new to barefoot shoes just looking to explore the range of barefoot shoes available, we had something for everyone who wanted happy healthy feet.
