We went to the Parentfolk Summer Sessions Hampshire

At the weekend we packed up our barefoot shoes, foot measurers and crayons and headed south for the first Hampshire based Parentfolk event!

If you don't know Parentfolk they are a platform and a digital title who put together the best family-friendly events for parents to unwind and connect, whilst little ones can enjoy all sorts of activities.

This time Parentfolk Summer Sessions took place at The Yard, a lovely rural café and event space in the beautiful Hampshire Countryside.

Split over two sessions, in the morning and afternoon, with lots for little ones and their parents, it was a fun filled event for all the family, there was the chance to get involved in some screen printing, skateboarding lessons, delicious food and drinks, and a streamer party and disco with some great djs.

We were in the sunshine next to The Story Shed and Brio play area with lots of seating, perfect for parents to relax and chat to us whilst their kids engaged in activities. 

 We introduced those that don't know us to barefoot shoes and we were delighted to be able to catch up with some of our long term customers and talk about all things barefoot.

We had a lovely selection of some of our best selling barefoot children's shoes for everyone to look at and feel. From our beautiful new Igor barefoot jelly shoes

 and popular Pediped Sahara Sandals to the super popular Slipfree anti slip pool shoes.

We also brought with us some of the Be Lenka Barebarics for parents to have a look at too and a small selection of our barefoot school shoes.

Whilst we were chatting with parents, kids were getting creative designing wellies! Amongst the hubbub of the 700 or so parents and children our eagle eyes spotted Hollywood star Josh Hartnett, who recently started in Oppenheimer, quietly enjoying the day with his wife and family.

This was the first time Parentfolk held an event in the South and we had a great time. We're now excited and geared up for the next Parentfolk event To The Coast, a microfestival in the beautiful Wirral Countryside on 22nd June. To The Coast is now sold out but you can put your name on the waiting list just in case any more tickets become available.
