Barefoot shoes

Following the success of their Vegan Go and Empire Boots, Peerko recently brought out a great range of vegan shoes, and have expanded their range of vegan boots. We think they're a fantastic option for those of us that want to make a choice to wear an alternative to leather. Whether it be for reasons related to a vegan diet or just for practicality, we wanted to find out more about these amazing new vegan leathers and to understand the differences and benefits of each option, so we had a chat with Iva, from Peerko. We thought it worth sharing what we found.

At Happy Little Soles, we pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and free returns, giving customers the chance to find the best barefoot shoes for them. We spend a lot of time talking to everyone but as an online business we don't always get to meet our customers in person. We decided it was time to change this and host a barefoot try on event!

"For this comparison review I thought it would be interesting to have shoes quite distinct from each other. Although the Realfoot are more of a shoe than a trainer, I wanted to try shoes/trainers that were also suitable for off road and practical for my lifestyle. I decided to have a look at the Be Lenka Barebarics, Realfoot and Xeo and see how they faired up against each other."

With school shoe season fast approaching yet again we thought it would be timely to do a roundup of all our school shoe options for you. The choice of a school shoe is such an important one as your child will likely wear their school shoes for longer than any other item of footwear, often upwards of 35 hours a week. Opting for a barefoot school shoe is therefore critical to ensure that you don't restrict and compromise growing feet, which are vulnerable to external influences and moulding by tight, ill-fitting shoes.

We had the best time at the Parentfolk Summer Sessions at The Yard Hampshire at the weekend. With lots for little ones and their parents it was a fun filled event for all the family. We introduced those that don't know us to barefoot shoes and we were able to catch up with some of our long term customers.
