Each pair of Common Tread sandals is meticulously handcrafted using locally sourced materials, including premium super-soft leather from a Cape Town tannery.
These sandals feature a crepe rubber sole designed for a super-wide fit with exceptional flexibility. The sole is 3mm thin, paired with a 2mm leather insole, creating a total 5mm stack height. This minimalist design ensures a true barefoot feel, making them one of the most barefoot-friendly options available, ideal for new and developing walkers.

Common Tread Sandals Size Chart
One of the biggest challenges we face is standardising the sizing structure as sizing varies between brands. For example a UK4 for one brand may be significantly different to a UK4 in another.
To help you we have attempted to standardise this by measuring all our shoes in centimetres (Internal Shoe Measurement (cm)) and then converting into our UK size for familiarity purposes (HLS UK Size). Please note that this will usually vary a little from the manufacturers conversion (Common Tread UK Size) as this is unavoidable as we try to standardise across all brands.
We recommend purchasing sandals which measure around 0.5-0.8cm bigger than the length of the longest foot measurement. Please see the table below detailing the Internal Shoe Measurement (cm) alongside the Foot Length (cm) this size shoe will fit.
Always buy based on the centimetre measurements of the shoe and the foot rather than the EU size, UK size or manufacturer's size.
