Crafted from soft-finish BottleYarn, a breathable, durable mesh made from recycled plastic bottles, the Bootee 2 offers an eco-friendly option without compromising on performance. The fully waterproof lining and water-resistant upper keep feet dry and comfortable in wet, muddy conditions, making these the perfect barefoot hiking boots for active outdoor lifestyles.
The zero drop design encourages a natural walking posture, while the superb flexibility and lightweight construction allow full foot freedom and natural movement. It is on the 4mm lugged HillGrip outsole with a deeper tread pattern for better grip in the mud. This sole is nice and wide with a slightly more sloping toe box than other Freet boots. There is a removable 3mm shock absorbing insole to increase the ‘barefoot’ feel when removed. The stack height is 10.5 mm with removable insole (including the 4mm lugs) 7.5mm without insole.

One of the biggest challenges we face is standardising the sizing structure as sizing varies between brands. For example a UK4 for one brand may be significantly different to a UK4 in another.
To help you we have attempted to standardise this by measuring all our shoes in centimetres (Internal Shoe Measurement (cm)) and then converting into our UK size for familiarity purposes (HLS UK Size). Please note that this will usually vary a little from the manufacturers conversion (Freet UK Size), which is shown on the box, as this is unavoidable as we try to standardise across all brands.
We recommend purchasing adults boots which measure around 1.0-1.2cm bigger than the length of the longest foot measurement. Please see the table below detailing the Internal Shoe Measurement (cm) alongside the Foot Length (cm) this size shoe will fit.
Always buy based on the centimetre measurements of the shoe and the foot rather than the EU size, UK size or manufacturer's size.
