The Merrell Ladies Trail Glove 7 Gore-Tex Boots in Black are designed for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy walking, hiking, and trail use. These waterproof boots are a perfect addition to Merrell’s barefoot range, combining performance, durability, and barefoot comfort for all types of terrain.
The boots are built on the same sole unit as the Vapour Glove 6, featuring a Vibram EcoStep outsole that wraps around the foot to maximise grip and ground connection. Made from 30% recycled rubber, this outsole offers excellent traction on both wet and dry surfaces, making it ideal for off-road environments. The zero-drop design keeps the foot in a natural position, providing lightweight flexibility with superior ground feel.
While the sole is flexible, the midsole has more cushioning for added comfort on trails, with a stack height of 14mm for extra support. This design makes the boot slightly stiffer than the Vapour Glove, ideal for trail use and waterproof protection.
The upper features synthetic mesh and includes a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane, offering exceptional breathability and keeping your feet dry in wet conditions.
These boots have a narrower fit compared to previous models, with a foot-shaped toe box that suits sloping feet rather than wider or squarer toes.

One of the biggest challenges we face is standardising the sizing structure as sizing varies between brands. For example a UK4 for one brand may be significantly different to a UK4 in another.
To help you we have attempted to standardise this by measuring all our shoes in centimetres (Internal Shoe Measurement (cm)) and then converting into our UK size for familiarity purposes (HLS UK Size). Please note that this will usually vary a little from the manufacturers conversion (Merrell UK Size), which is shown on the box, as this is unavoidable as we try to standardise across all brands.
We recommend purchasing trainers which measure around 1.0-1.2cm bigger than the length of the longest foot measurement. Please see the table below detailing the Internal Shoe Measurement (cm) alongside the Foot Length (cm) this size shoe will fit.
Always buy based on the centimetre measurements of the shoe and the foot rather than the EU size, UK size or manufacturer's size.
