Pediped Flex Sahara’s

The Pediped Flex Sahara is part of the Flex range from American brand Pediped. Pediped is the smart choice for parents concerned with the long-term development of their children’s feet. Their focus on comfort, style and quality has earned them the American Podiatric Medical Association Seal of Acceptance for creating shoes that promote healthy foot development.

Flex is a range of footwear for confident walkers who have developed a solid, natural stride. With its soft, flexible rubber sole and wide toe box, the Flex provides the perfect combination between comfort and healthy foot development.

The Pediped Flex Sahara is a water-safe sandal available in a range of eye-catching styles. It is great for protecting little feet whilst paddling in rivers, streams and rockpools and can cope with a good soaking. As well as it being water-safe, it contains a quick-dry EVA footbed, which is designed to express water quickly, making these the perfect solution whether you have planned a day at the beach or a day by the pool.

Their all-round flexibility doesn’t end there. They are machine washable meaning they can be worn at the park and still end up looking clean and fresh after a quick wash. To clean simply place the shoes in the washing machine. For best results, wash shoes alone in cold water, on gentle cycle. Do not add bleach and only use regular detergent. Allow shoes to air dry with Velcro open, away from sunlight. Do not put shoes in the dryer.

All Pediped Flex Sahara’s are eco-friendly and vegan. They are made with a Clarino upper, breathable neoprene lining, flexible rubber sole and are made with no animal products or by-products, making them a perfect option if you are after a pair of Vegan shoes. No solvents are used in the manufacturing process, resulting in reduced carbon dioxide emission and less use of water and energy.

As mentioned earlier we stock a wide range of different styles of Sahara’s, so we have something for all tastes! They have been without doubt our best summer selling shoe since we introduced them into our range a few years ago. Over that time the Flex Sahara Blue and Flex Sahara Fuchsia Lavender have been firm favourites amongst our customers, whilst the Flex Sahara Grey Lime is a great option if you are looking for something a little different. The new colour for 2019 is the Blue Stripe.

All Sahara’s come in sizes EU20-EU33, which is approximately UK4 to UK1 Junior. They are a good option for medium to wide feet with a good depth to suit high insteps. Please note that the Sahara's do come up bigger than you expect compared to other styles due to the open nature of the style. Size down if in doubt and check the growing room carefully - for a sandal 0.5cm is often enough.
