Vivobarefoot Kids Addis Wyn – Barefoot Mary Jane School Shoes Handmade in Ethiopia
The Vivobarefoot Addis Wyn is a modern take on the classic Mary Jane school shoe, reimagined with barefoot functionality in mind. Now built on the zero-drop, ultra-flexible Addis sole unit, the Wyn allows for natural foot development, all-day comfort, and movement as nature intended.
Crafted from Wild Hide African leather ethically sourced from small-scale farmers, these barefoot school shoes are part of Vivobarefoot’s Made in Ethiopia collection. Each pair is handmade in Addis Ababa, empowering local makers and communities through ethical production.
The 4mm Addis outsole features Vivobarefoot’s iconic footprint-inspired tread, referencing the Laetoli Footprints—the earliest recorded human footprints. This wide, anatomically-shaped sole offers excellent ground feel and encourages healthy movement patterns throughout the school day.
With a secure hook-and-loop strap for easy fastening and adjustment, the Addis Wyn is a perfect choice for girls who need a stylish, comfortable, and naturally foot-shaped school shoe.

Vivobarefoot Kids Shoes & Trainers Size Chart
One of the biggest challenges we face is standardising the sizing structure as sizing varies between brands. For example a UK4 for one brand may be significantly different to a UK4 in another.
To help you we have attempted to standardise this by measuring all our shoes in centimetres (Internal Shoe Measurement (cm)) and then converting into our UK size for familiarity purposes (HLS UK Size). Please note that this will usually vary a little from the manufacturers conversion (Vivo UK Size), which is shown on the box, as this is unavoidable as we try to standardise across all brands.
We recommend purchasing shoes/trainers which measure around 0.8-1.0cm bigger than the length of the longest foot measurement. For smaller feet and new walkers (EU20-22) we recommend adding a little less around 0.5-0.8cm. Please see the table below detailing the Internal Shoe Measurement (cm) alongside the Foot Length (cm) this size shoe will fit.
Always buy based on the centimetre measurements of the shoe and the foot rather than the EU size, UK size or manufacturer's size.
